Im Back

Well Steve since has been home for a year now I thought that I should update this. We have since then moved and bought a beautiful home in Washington, bought a dog Hooch that we love and adore, and got one from our friend Drew Tig that drives me crazy and keeps Hooch happy, last but not least found out I was pregnant and am due in February. Yahoo bring on the fat and diapers. Hopefully I will be able to prepare myself....if there is anyway to do that let me know I will take good advice. Any who I am back and hope to keep everyone more updated on the world of Lauren Leavitt

Steve is in North Carolina

Well steve is coming home in well two days. Can you believe it because I can't. I am in shock that he is going to be coming home to our new apartment. I have latley been trying to update and decorate. My window treatments are not looking too hot. My couch is pulled from the wall and I can't make it look quite the way I would like. I am sure that it will grow on me soon though.
Steve has a cell phone now and I can call him whenever I want. How grateful I am for modern day technology. I didn't realize how much I loved that until it was taken from me. It is amazing what you learn in your life through every day experiences.
I am just at my mom's so I am going to take my laundry home and go hit the sack. Love you all

Hi

Well I haven't posted anything for awhile so I thought that I would let you know how I am. Steve is coming home very soon and I can't wait until we are going to be able to be together. He is going to be home April 28. It is crazy how fast and how slow this year has gone by for me. It has been an emotional one but I have been able to get through it somehow, I defenitaly wasn't alone. It is amazing how much I have grown and how much I have learned.
It will be interesting to see what the rest of the year will be like with a companion. I am so use to doing things by myself that I am scared I am going to mess up. I guess we are both going to have to be patient and learn from each other. We have a lot of catching up to do and just learning how to live with each other.
Work is going ok to say the least. I guess a job is a job no matter how you look at it huh. Hope that everyone is enjoying there day love you.

At Work

Steve is a hard working man with a California tan. He is at work in Iraq fighting for our country with all his smelly boys. Steve is good at keeping everyone entertained and keep their minds off the home life and focused on what they are doing. He is a great example and friend to all of his platoon. Of course he has his lows but he makes the best of what he is there to do.

He said that they are making alot of progress and that towns are getting rebuilt and that they are welcoming them there. He feels like he is there for a reason and is having a great impact on the Iraqi people.

I couldn't be more proud of one person in my entire life. He is such a great example of courage. I wish that I could have just a little bit of the courage that he has. He will be such a great father one day to our children. I know that they will learn and grow so much from his example and experiences.
